About Me

Hello, my name is Tracy. I live in southwest British Columbia and spend the majority of my free time exploring trails and mountains.

I am a firm believer we are meant to spend as much time as we can doing the things we love. For me, that’s spending most of my spare time in nature.

Over the last decade I have committed myself to learning more about hiking, backpacking, and nature. I recognized how much the outdoors impacts my mental wellbeing and I love sharing my knowledge with others.

Whenever I am not working you will likely find me outside - on a trail, on top of a mountain, at the beach, or in the water. I am grateful to work in a job where I am able to have my summers free to explore and adventure as much as I am physically able to.

I have been working to increase my time spent outdoors, especially on rainy days, as I would love to have a larger presence in my outdoor community and potentially turn my love for the outdoors into a career.

My goals are:

  • To educate others on how to be safe and have fun outdoors while day hiking.

  • To promote and educate on Leave No Trace principles to keep our trails, forests, and oceans clean.

  • To create content that inspires others, especially women, to spend more time outside embracing nature.

  • To provide useful outdoor information in a clear and concise way.
